With a robust feature set and simple operation backed by Nikon's outstanding technology, the D5000 is the ideal choice for users of entry-level digital SLR cameras, and those seeking an upgrade to increase the level of photographic expression.

The D5000 features a versatile variable-angle LCD display that can be seen in the normal position of those against the camera back, or twist and turn and / or tilted. This unprecedented freedom of movement, adds a unique level of creativity at the firearm Live View, which allows easy viewing from the point of view in virtually any environment. When not in use, the monitor can be stored with the LCD panel in front of the camera again, in essence, becoming its coverage of the monitor resistant.
